I read the Blog reviews on both items and decided to give the Buffalo gears a try. My plan was to use the cooler on a fishing trip on a day with temperature forecasted to be in the mid-90. I work at night, so I packed up frozen bottles of water, Gatorade, food and live night crawlers at around 10:00 before I left for work. The cooler was left in my car inside a parking garage at my office. When I got to the lake at around 9:00 AM I checked the content of the cooler and was satisfied with the results. Some ice that I had just poured in the cooler had melted a bit, but ice in plastic bags was still about 85 percent solid and the frozen drinks were about 75 percent still frozen. Being that I left the content in my car in a parking garage that was not air-conditioned for 8 hours and another 1.5 hours before I check the content I am satisfied with the product. The cooler is very well made and should last for many years.
Cooler was well-built and keeps beverages and food cold. Unique design and size fits very well in awkward areas.
This is really awesome. Excellent quality. We use it for going on the boat all day. So it’s in the sun and heat 100 degrees and has kept everything cold all day! Had a water bottle leak inside and it kept it from leaking outside the bag. Highly recommend❤❤❤♀️
I didn't want to spend the $$ on a Yeti and found this cooler. Love the style and color. Kept our items cool for a long distance road trip. Ice packs were still solid after 8 hours. We also used this at the beach and worked really well.
This cooler looks nice and has a definite quality feel to it. I really like the form factor as well--it's easy to fit into my car when I have a lot of other gear. However, opening the bag to grab a soda involves: 1) unclip the 2 clips on the side, and the clip in the middle 2) unroll top cover 3) unzip 4) retrieve soda and then repeat the process to close it. If you only need to open it once, no problem, but it's really inconvenient if you want to quickly grab a cold sports drink, then screw the lid back on and put it back in the cooler. Certainly, it's something I could live with IF the cooler kept ice for any respectable period of time.
